The Second Set (of my first commission)

Several months behind time, but it's 4 out of 7 done!

Love is hard work. Reminds me of the song "The Water is Wide" which my dad sang at his wedding.

Give me a boat

That can carry two

And both shall row

My love and I.

This one was inspired by a poem I wrote in 2003. You'll never guess how I managed to get such a proportionate female form in this card. Anyway, here's the poem tweaked slightly:

-Longing-

Lying here, all alone.

Waiting beside my phone.

Hoping for something to happen,

That would make my heart awaken.

But nothing happens.

And I just wait.

Time. (Goes by. So slowly.)

My personal favourite. Mind you, all these designs are original, and this one was not easy to design. The math involved sucked.
